My name is Niaz Ali, and I’m 32 years old. I have had the honor of representing Hong Kong in international cricket and was part of the team at the Asian Games two years ago. I am an ICC Level 2 qualified coach and also a Level 2 international umpire. Recently, I had the opportunity to umpire at the Hong Kong International Sixes and made my debut in T20 internationals as an umpire.
In addition to my umpiring and coaching roles, I serve as the head coach of the India Club in Hong Kong on a part-time basis, while also working full-time as a physical education teacher. I hold a Master’s degree in Sports Coaching and Management.
I am genuinely excited to be part of this group alongside some of the greats of the game. I look forward to learning from all of you and sharing this journey together.
