The NSW Multicultural Sports Association Inc. (NSWMSA) was established in 2025 with the goal of promoting inclusive participation in sports across all communities, particularly among children and youth from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. Inspired by the success of grassroots initiatives such as the FLCA T20 Senior and Junior Winter Cricket tournaments, NSWMSA has grown into a broad-based organisation that supports a variety of sports including cricket, tennis, athletics, and programs for people with disabilities.
What began as a modest effort to fill the winter cricket void has now evolved into a dynamic multicultural sporting platform, engaging hundreds of players and volunteers from across Greater Sydney. NSWMSA champions the belief that sport is a powerful tool to build community, break down barriers, promote healthy lifestyles, and foster a sense of belonging for all, regardless of cultural or socioeconomic background.
Our growing network includes partnerships with local councils, schools, sports clubs, community leaders, and professional athletes, all working together to make sport accessible, affordable, and inclusive year-round.
The format is Twenty20. Each innings will be of 20 overs
